2020league VIII ended in a rather predictable way - with Arsenal taking the pot after only 3 weeks - their one goal scored at old trafford was enough to seal victory in the 2020league.

2020league VIII - results
Labels: 2020league VIII | author: James.Sutton2020league VIII - update
Labels: 2020league VIII | author: James.SuttonArsenal have started 2020league VIII impressively by scoring 6 & 4, against Everton and Portsmouth, in weeks 1 & 2 in the competition. Man Utd are now second on 6 goals after they beat Wigan 5-0 on saturday. Newcastle and Middlesbrough are both doing well, but the other teams have little chance of winning - although 8 teams are playing on sunday or monday, so their week 2 scores have not been added yet.
Arsenal just need 1 goal to take the money - their next game is against Man Utd!
2020league VIII - the draw
Labels: 2020league VIII | author: James.SuttonThe draw for 2020league VIII is about to be made. The 6 championship teams will all have a decent chance of winning the competition - If I had a choice, I would pick Newcastle, but we will see if the draw is kind or not.
The Draw
In a change to last year, the draw will consist of two pots. Pot A for the player names & pot B for team names. A player will be drawn from pot A, followed by their team drawn from pot B. The draw will continue in this way, until all players have been matched to a team.
